Conveyor Roller Set

Garland Roller Set

Garland roller sets connect multiple rollers into a suspended support assembly. The complete chain, its connectors and the attachment brackets should be specified together to suit the conveyor profile and the existing support structure at the installation point.

  • Confirm dimensions, materials and working conditions
  • Discuss quantity, delivery and documentation requirements
  • Review drawings or a sample where the application requires it

Product details

Garland Roller Set are used in belt conveyors that have to handle blunt, bulky,
heavy materials.

Garland roller comprises either 3-roller or 5-roller joined together at the
ends of their respective shafts by special lugs, to form a continuous ’chain’ of roller. On
either end of this ‘chain’, the shafts are connected to an attachment bracket
which enables the roller set to be attached to the conveyor stringer
structures.

Garlands can be made:

1. For all types of rollers – Steel, HDPE SUPREME and Rubber impact or rubber
disc.

2. In 2, 3 or 5 roll configuration.

3. With a variety of end connectors – chain, handle, bobbin or quick
release.

Application:

Mining

Steel mill

Cement plant

Power plant

Chemical Plant

Sea Port

Storage

etc.

Application and selection guide

Garland roller sets connect multiple rollers into a suspended support assembly. The complete chain, its connectors and the attachment brackets should be specified together to suit the conveyor profile and the existing support structure at the installation point.

Where this product fits

Describe whether the garland set belongs on the carrying strand, the return strand or beneath a transfer point. The loading position influences the roller surface and connecting arrangement that should be reviewed.

Information for a suitable proposal

Provide the number of rollers, attachment span, connector style and existing bracket details. Mark any limited access where suspended components must be handled during replacement.

A complete roller set should be selected as an assembly. Record the belt width, roller lengths, trough configuration, mounting centres and overall frame envelope. A replacement drawing should show how the set attaches to the conveyor structure and how surrounding chutes or guards limit access.

Installation and maintenance considerations

Check suspension points and connectors during inspection. Replace damaged connecting components in accordance with the assembly requirements instead of treating only the roller shell as the wearing part.

Tell the supplier whether the set belongs on the carrying strand, return strand or loading zone. Include material characteristics and the current operating problem, if any. During a planned shutdown, inspect the supporting steelwork and adjacent rollers as well as the worn assembly; a new set cannot compensate for a distorted mounting location.
