Product details
3 roller offset carrying Roller Sets act as an alternative to inline Roller Sets. They
come with many benefits, such as reduced overall height and reduced gap between
middle and side rollers. This also reduces the risk of the belt becoming snagged
and damaged. They are often used in underground mines and even with thin belt
carcasses.
Application:
Mining
Steel mill
Cement plant
Power plant
Chemical Plant
Sea Port
Storage
etc.
Application and selection guide
An off-set roller set positions parts of the supporting arrangement at different longitudinal locations. The relative roller positions and mounting geometry must match the conveyor design so that a replacement maintains consistent support beneath the moving belt.
Where this product fits
Use an installation sketch to show which rollers are offset and the direction of belt travel. This helps distinguish the arrangement from an inline station with a similar overall appearance.
Information for a suitable proposal
Specify the roller lengths, staggered positions and frame fixing centres. Mark nearby brackets or chutes that may restrict access or prevent a differently shaped set from fitting.
A complete roller set should be selected as an assembly. Record the belt width, roller lengths, trough configuration, mounting centres and overall frame envelope. A replacement drawing should show how the set attaches to the conveyor structure and how surrounding chutes or guards limit access.
Installation and maintenance considerations
Check the frame for distortion and ensure that each roller is seated in its intended position. Inspect all supporting rollers rather than only the visibly worn component.
Tell the supplier whether the set belongs on the carrying strand, return strand or loading zone. Include material characteristics and the current operating problem, if any. During a planned shutdown, inspect the supporting steelwork and adjacent rollers as well as the worn assembly; a new set cannot compensate for a distorted mounting location.
