Product details
Using high -quality carbon steel shafts. We can provide original shafts, or process it according to customer requirements.
Application and selection guide
A roller shaft supports the bearing arrangement and connects the roller to its mounting frame. Shaft end geometry and the position of bearing seats are crucial to fit, especially when replacing a part in an existing roller design.
Where this product fits
Identify whether the shaft belongs to a carrying, return, guide or specialised roller. The mounting ends and internal assembly can differ even when overall shaft lengths appear similar.
Information for a suitable proposal
Provide a dimensioned drawing showing bearing seats, shoulders, grooves and both ends. Include material and surface requirements from the approved design rather than relying on a nominal overall length.
Roller accessories work together as a matched assembly. A part with a similar outline can still differ in fit, retention or sealing function. Provide a drawing, a readable part reference or measurements from an unworn sample, together with photographs showing where the component sits in the roller.
Installation and maintenance considerations
Check straightness and protect machined surfaces during handling. Inspect the mating bearings and frame slots before assembly to identify wear outside the shaft itself.
When comparing replacements, identify the mating parts and the assembly method. Material, surface condition and tolerances should be agreed for the actual operating environment. Replacing one component is also an opportunity to check the surrounding parts for damage; a worn housing or bent shaft can undermine an otherwise suitable new part.
