Application and selection guide

HDRL-G is a general purpose diamond cold bond rubber lagging option in the archived range. The patterned surface and bonding arrangement should be reviewed with the pulley duty, material contamination and the condition of the belt contact area.

Where this product fits

Explain the role of the pulley and the reason for replacing the covering. Compare this general purpose variant with other diamond-pattern products using a common set of operating details.

Information for a suitable proposal

Provide pulley face dimensions, existing pattern and covering details, belt information and photographs of the worn surface. Confirm the intended bonding process and the scope of surface preparation.

Rubber lagging is selected around pulley duty, surface condition and the operating environment. Describe where the pulley sits in the conveyor and whether moisture, fines or material build-up are present. Pattern, installation method and the condition of the underlying shell should be considered together.

Installation and maintenance considerations

Inspect pattern wear, bond edges and material build-up. Check uneven contact before applying a replacement covering so that an alignment problem is not carried into the new installation.

For replacement work, provide pulley face dimensions, existing covering details and photographs of the wear pattern. Bonding surfaces and joint arrangements need to follow the selected installation procedure. Inspect the belt and adjacent cleaning equipment during the same shutdown, because uneven contact or trapped material can quickly damage a newly installed covering.
