Conveyor component

Pulley Lagging

HPL-H Polyurethane Cold Bond Lag-High Wear Resistant

HPL-H is labelled as a high wear resistant polyurethane cold bond lagging option. That product designation should be considered alongside the actual wear mechanism, belt contact and installation conditions when comparing it with the general purpose variant.

  • Confirm dimensions, materials and working conditions
  • Discuss quantity, delivery and documentation requirements
  • Review drawings or a sample where the application requires it

Product details

It is suitable for conveying equipment with high requirements on the abrasion
resistance and acid and alkali resistance of pulley lagging.

Product Features:

1、Combined with DCCD cleaning agent, metal treatment agent and cement, it can
produce the maximum bonding strength and is safer to use;

2、Hardness Shore 67±5A, more friendly to conveyor belt;

3、Wear resistance ≤59mm³, provide >55000 hours service life under normal
working conditions;

4、It is suitable for the use of pulleys in severe working conditions such as
severe local wear and tear due to conveyor belts problems;

5、No need to grind the CN layer.

Application and selection guide

HPL-H is labelled as a high wear resistant polyurethane cold bond lagging option. That product designation should be considered alongside the actual wear mechanism, belt contact and installation conditions when comparing it with the general purpose variant.

Where this product fits

Describe where the existing covering wears first and whether abrasive contamination is present. A photograph of the full pulley face can reveal uneven contact that a close-up alone may miss.

Information for a suitable proposal

Provide the pulley dimensions, current lagging and belt details, and the proposed bonding arrangement. Ask for the product choice to be reviewed for the actual operating environment.

Polyurethane lagging should be reviewed against the conveyed material, pulley position, belt surface and likely wear mechanism. Explain whether the replacement is intended to address abrasion, build-up or an installation requirement. A material label alone is not enough to confirm suitability for a specific operating condition.

Installation and maintenance considerations

Inspect for local thinning, lifted edges and belt rubbing. A more wear-focused material option should still be fitted onto a correctly prepared and suitably aligned pulley.

Send the pulley dimensions and an outline of the existing covering. Agree the bonding preparation and installation method with the responsible team, and consider whether the shutdown allows the necessary work to be completed correctly. Routine inspections should look for lifting edges, local wear and trapped material before these affect the belt or adjacent equipment.
